To link file you will need to (two files must be in the schema):

1. Select Edit->Links option in the main menu to open file links form:

In drop downs select files and field that will link them(define link):

• File – Data File that has Foreign Key to Lookup file;
• Foreign Key – Data field that links data file to lookup;
• Lookup – Lookup file;
• Primary Key – Field in Lookup file that contains unique values.

2. Tick check boxes to define link properties where appropriate:

• Enforce – if checked then it will be considered to be an error if Record in Data File has no related record in Lookup (orphan record). Orphan records will appear in Data Error form (see Figure );
• Case Sensitive – if clicked then foreign and primary key will be compared taking string case into account.
