To add new file to the schema from the sample file:
- drag and Drop sample file to File List Area (*.txt, *.csv);
- fill in File Definition form, see figure:
- Press OK button
Descriptions for fields on the form:
- Alias – logical name for the data source, i.e.: Contacts, Orders;
- Has Header – check if your data files have header;
- Lookup – if checked, records in file will be used to validate other files. No validations will be run against this file;
- File Path – path to the data file;
- Save Valid Records to – path where valid records will be saved after processing;
- File Type – Delimited or Fixed Position files (Put Delimiter and String Qualifier for Delimited files);
- Comment – any valuable information (will appear in browser view of the Schema);
